Kabsanka Coffee: Great Coffee With A Great Cause

on

Robert has spent the past few months working diligently to curate the best coffee anywhere in the world, using environmentally friendly harvested coffee beans, and if you don’t believe it, you will just have to try a cup for yourself!

Kabsanka Coffee is hand-crafted using traditional, eco-friendly techniques and is responsibly sourced. It comes Kosher certified and has been professionally endorsed and recommended by Dr. Maheen a Cardiologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital stating,

“Two to three cups of coffee per day had either a neutral impact - meaning it did not cause harm - or those folks enjoyed a 10 to 20% improvement in cardiovascular health, these cardiovascular gains were linked to a decreased risk of: The emergence of coronary heart disease, heart attack, heart rhythm issues, or any reason for death.” - Dr. Maheen, MD, Cardiologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital

A Focus On Sustainability And Sustainable Farming

Kabsanka Coffee places a great emphasis on eco-friendly, sustainable coffee harvesting techniques so that generations long after us can enjoy the beautiful world and its rich abundance.

Kabsanka is proud to state that we pay our farmers a fair wage so that they can use sustainable farming which protects the environment and the wildlife from permanent and irreparable damage. Although sustainable farming often requires more work and increased overhead, this is something that Kabsanka Coffee feels strongly about.

Kabsanka Coffee farmers employ a variety of eco-friendly methods to harvesting the coffee bean including ensuring that it is shade-grown, meaning the coffee trees are often grown under the shade of taller trees to protect them from the harsh sun. This not only helps to produce a higher quality coffee, but it also helps to preserve the local ecosystem by providing habitat for a variety of plants and animals.

Other sustainable farming practices include water conservation, soil management, and natural pest control to minimize the environmental impact and ensure the long-term viability of the farmland.

Variety Of Offerings

Currently, Kabsanka Coffee will be made available in two varieties including: Medium Dark Roast and Dark Roast and originates from South and Central America including Brazil. According to Robert, no matter the variety, all of the coffee is, “Kosher certified, single-origin, GMO, low-acid, 100% shade grown.”

The Medium Dark Roast version has a flavor profile of “Full City +” with origins in Central and South America. The 100% Arabica coffee contains a custom flavor blend including notes of brown sugar, hazelnut, and plum. It is low acid, small batch, artisan roasted using traditional eco-friendly techniques and responsibly sourced materials.

South and Central America produce a massive amount of coffee for the world, with some estimates placing product at 40-60 million bags per year. The farms in this region of the world are renowned for specific climatic and geographic conditions necessary to produce high quality coffee.

The Dark Roast version is made under the same high standards set by Kabsanka with a South American origin. The flavor profile is French, with hints of smokey raspberry, dark chocolate, and anise. This Dark Roast blend comes from the country of Brazil, which uses advanced harvesting processing systems geared towards high-end, specialty grade coffee beans. The coffee is produced using natural, and pulped processes. Also known as the wet and dry processes. The natural process tends to produce a coffee that is sweeter and fruitier, while the pulped process produces a coffee with a cleaner, brighter taste.

Corporate Donation Pledge

Robert, the CEO and Founder of Kabsanka Coffee has pledge to donate a percentage of all proceeds towards the rebuilding of a third temple in Israel, stating,

“I’ve lived and worked in Israel for over two years, and I’ve gotten to love Israel.”

In addition to donating to the rebuilding of a third temple in Israel, Robert has pledged to supporting people, the environment, and wildlife by reinforcing ethically sustainable farming practices to protect the profits of farmers and the nature that plants and animals rely on to survive.
